Abstract guideline


The scope of the paper covers several topics that mentioned below:

  1. Health economic, policy and administration
  2. Health promotion
  3. Reproductive health
  4. Environment and occupational health
  5. Community nutrition
  6. Communicable and non-communicable diseases
  7. Biostatistic and population health
  8. Tobacco control
  9. Religion and health
  10. Quality of health services

Abstract content

Original research is for presenting scientific findings and evaluations. It must be organised as follows:

  • Title
  • Author and Affiliation
  • Introduction: State the study objectives, question or the challenge addressed by the research
  • Methods: State the setting, study population and sample or informants, research method, procedures and techniques used to collect and analyse information.
  • Results: State the current summary of the research results. Present specific findings to date
  • Conclusion: Describe the main result of the work and key key recommendations.
  • Key words: Maximum 5 keywords

Abstract Format

  • Abstracts must be prepared exclusively in English and should be thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar. Authors are responsible for proofreading and submitting an abstract without errors, as they will be reproduced in the form they were submitted
  • Titles should not exceed 20 words. Titles of more than 20 words will be truncated. Type the title of the abstract in upper and lower case, using capitals only for the first word, acronyms and proper nouns
  • Abstracts text should not exceed 300 words. Text of more than 300 words will be truncated
  • Abstract must not contain tables, pictures or diagrams
  • All abbreviations must be spelled out on first use
  • Author(s) should include name of author(s) and their affiliation(s). Author(s) should be responsible for providing the correct name of the author and co-author(s)

Review and acceptance

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed and scored by at least two reviewers. The scores will then be submitted to the members of the Scientific Committee, who will determine which abstracts are acceptable and whether they are best suited for oral or poster sessions. The notification of accepted abstracts will be notified by June 2018.

The submitted abstracts will be selected for presentation. The manuscripts (full papers) should be submitted only after the abstracts are accepted
